A joint effort between WEINIG and Great Lakes Custom Tool has produced a Helical Planerhead with a non-segmented knife!

Among the distinct advantages of this tool are:
  • Eliminates tearout in hardwoods and knotty material
  • One continuous, uninterrupted cutting edge
  • Inserts can be resharpened on a Weinig R960 series grinder
  • True running accuracy within 0.0005"
  • Can be constructed in PowerLock and Hydro also

Each cutterhead contains a full set of 10 degree installed inserts. 5 degree inserts also available for extreme hardwoods; 15 degree knives available for softwoods.

All straight bore heads = 135mm OD
Spindle usage (RH or LH) required when ordering.
